SURREY - A 27-year-old Surrey man was shot through his gut Wednesday night in Whalley.

Police have yet to make an arrest.

The victim, who is known to police, has been released from hospital but is not cooperating with investigators.

Police believe the shooting was targeted. It happened at 9:30 p.m., in the parking lot of Safeway at 10355 King George Boulevard.
