SURREY - Police are looking for a 12-year-old runaway who has been missing since Tuesday night.

Jamie-Leah Prohl was last seen just before she was supposed to go to bed, at her home in the 13200-block of 105th Avenue in Whalley.

She is five feet three inches tall, 115 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair with purple highlights down to just below her jaw line. She also has a scar from a dog bite on her right check.

Her family and police are worried for her wellbeing, as she might be distraught. She's never been reported missing before.

Police say Prohl is known to use public transit but doesn't have access to her cash or cell phone.

The Surrey RCMP asks anyone with information as to her whereabouts to contact the Missing Persons Unit at 604-599-0502 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
