With the White Rock byelection's voting day looming on the horizon and advanced voting set to begin, the Now reached out to all candidates running to replace the late Mary Wade Anderson on council. Click through the above photos to read about the candidates, in alphabetical order.

Important dates to remember:

Oct. 24 and 30 - Advance voting opens at the White Rock Community Centre from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Oct. 29 - Special vote held at Evergreen Baptist Home from 9 a.m. to noon.

Nov. 1 - mail ballots no longer able to be distributed.

Nov. 3 - Election Day, with ballots open 8 a.m to 8 p.m. at the White Rock Community Centre, Kent Street Activity Centre and Centennial Arena.
