Re: "Crashes involving police on radar," the Now, Jan. 10.

Police officers may need to take lessons from ambulance drivers and emergency fire departments on how to drive through intersections where they don't have the right of way.

Far too often, I have witnessed police cars blasting through intersections with no emergency lights or siren activated.

Because our lives are also at stake, we have every right to demand an immediate stop to this road carnage by our police.
