It is surprising to me that Gurpreet Singh immigrated to a country he is so critical of. He must have known that Canada had a monarchy at the time he immigrated.
While it is very generous of him to take on the task of "educating Canadians," I am sure there is much "educating" to be done in India - certainly too much to list here.
I don't think there is a country in the world that doesn't have a "nasty past." The key word here is "past."
