Works by South Surrey-based artist Gordon S. Thorne are on view at Ocean Park Library during the month of August (see listing under Visual Art). Following retirement from the banking industry a decade ago, Thorne found a passion for painting. Today, he works mainly in acrylics, featuring natural landscapes, animals and flora.

VISUAL ART
