Nelson-based actor/writer Lucas Myers comes to Surrey Arts Centre Friday, Nov. 23 with DECK, or How I Instigated Then Overcame an Existential Crisis Through Home Improvement. The solo show stars Myers as both Cliv (a neurotic single parent, left) and Corey (the charismatic carpenter who takes Cliv under his wing). An actual deck will be built during show, thanks to Dick's Lumber, and raffled off at show's end. "I'm always looking for unique ways to allow the audience to connect with the performance," Myers says. "It's also a great way to make each and every performance totally unique."
