The "hilariously miserable" Jeremy Hotz will headline another night of comedy at Bell Performing Arts Centre next March.

His Just For Laughs-backed "Magical Misery Tour" will stop at the Surrey venue on Thursday, March 21, event promotors announced on Tuesday.

The Canadian-born Hotz is a veteran of the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal and toured the nation in 2009 and 2010 (recording a DVD along the way). As an actor, he has appeared on HBO Canada's Call Me Fitz with Jason Priestly. He earned a Gemini award for his work on CBC's The Newsroom and has written for The Jon Stewart Show.

Tickets for Hotz's show in Surrey go on sale Friday, Nov. 23 for $42.50 each, plus taxes and facility charges, via 1-855-9855000 and www.ticketmaster.ca.
