Mall's yoga event cancelled
It's no go for a yoga event at Guildford Town Centre on Saturday (March 16).
Mall management has cancelled an event that was organized as a way to help convince Lululemon to open shop there.
Earlier this week, residents of Surrey were invited to "show their love" for the popular clothing retailer by attending the free event in support of the mall's quest to become home to a Lululemon store.
By late Thursday, however, the event was put off.
"We've had a change of plans and will no longer be hosting a mass yoga event at Guildford Town Centre tomorrow, Saturday, March 16," mall management stated Friday morning. "We'd like to thank our online community and all the residents of Surrey for their ongoing interest in the activities underway at our growing shopping centre.
"We are very excited about our ongoing redevelopment and the new retailers we're getting ready to welcome. We will continue to encourage the most popular retailers and brands to make their home south of the Fraser River at Guildford Town Centre."
