This summer's edition of Fusion Festival will feature reggae-rock band Bedouin Soundclash and British pop/R&B singer Jay Sean, the Now has learned.

The free, fourth annual event happens July 16 and 17 at Holland Park, adjacent to the Central City tower. Diverse sounds on multiple concert stages are the focus of the two-day fest, along with a dizzying array of food and vendors from around the world.

The Juno Award-winning Bedouin Soundclash, based in Toronto, is best known for its feel-good hits "When the Night Feels My Song" and "Walls Fall Down."

Sean, meanwhile, is known internationally for appearances at high-profile TV awards shows and his platinum hits "Do You Remember" and "Down."

Last time around, the fest attracted close to 90,000 people who ate, danced and soaked up the mid-July sun.

The event, presented by the City of Surrey in association with Coast Capital Savings and other corporate sponsors, is billed as B.C.'s largest multicultural celebration.
