SURREY — Pat McDermott directs a season-opening production of The Foursome for Surrey Little Theatre.
The Norm Foster-written comedy, which opens on Thursday, Oct. 3, focuses on four college buddies who reunite for a round of golf. On the course, their facades start to unravel and their real-life stories unfold.
The cast features Surrey-based actors Brent Cross and Harry Pering, along with Chris Carver, who lives in Pitt Meadows, and John Tabek, a Maple Ridge resident.
Cross plays Cameron, a salesman worried about his health, while Pering plays Donnie, who feels like an underdog with his many kids. Carver plays Rick, who apparently lives the life selling boats in Florida, while Tabek is Ted, a boozy computer guy with a trophy wife.
The Foursome is staged from Oct. 3 to 26 at Surrey Little Theatre, located at 7027 184th St. Show times are at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. For tickets and more show info, call 604-576-8451 or visit www.brownpapertickets.com.
