Several thousand people came out to take part in Surrey's Tree-Lighting Festival at Central City Plaza last Saturday. Surrey's "official" tree, which is touted as B.C.'s largest, stands at 55 feet tall. The festival included roving performers, free family activities and lots of music on the main stage.
