More than 600 dancers from 12 schools in Surrey hit the stage Saturday for the annual Breakout dance competition. Hip-hop, bhangra, jazz and contemporary dance styles were featured at the event at North Surrey Secondary.

Close to 600 students from across Surrey dressed to dance Saturday during the annual Breakout competition at North Surrey Secondary. The event attracted competitors from a dozen schools in the city, with hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, bhangra and other dance moves performed on stage.
