Re: "Passed on by," the Now, Oct. 9.

It's too bad that Canada has not adopted a similar charter-related act as our American neighbours have done with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Section 12141 insures that people with disabilities will be picked up. In this day and age it is unacceptable to have this kind of service.
