Envision Financial employees have put their money where their commitment is by pledging more than $44,000 to local charities and community organizations in 2013.

Causes that will benefit from this generosity include food banks, Canuck Place Children's Hospice Abbotsford and the United Way.

The money will be raised through regular payroll deductions over the next 12 months in addition to other regular giving and volunteer programs.

"Giving is a privilege - we get to give and we can do so much if we band together," said Leona Fleck, a branch manager.

"I feel proud to be part of an organization that encourages its employees to give back."
