A 33-year-old psychiatric patient was pulled off the third-storey roof of a parkade at Surrey Memorial Hospital on two separate occasions this past week.
The first incident happened last Thursday night.
Then, at about 11: 30 a.m. Tuesday, she got over the railing again, and hospital security, once again, got her down with help from the RCMP.
A police spokesman said the hospital is working on a plan to ensure it doesn't happen a third time.
Roy Thorpe-Dorward, spokesman for Fraser Health, wouldn't discuss details of the case "due to patient privacy laws."
"What I can tell you is that a care plan has been put in place to ensure the person is safe and getting the care he needed," he said.
