A truck full of roses to Eldon and Dorothy for showing us that there are still people willing to give their time to others. We paid a plumber a fortune to repair our faucet and it never was fixed. I called Helping Hands - these two friendly people came to our home, took out the broken faucet and installed the new one and refused pay. A contribution was made to the church in their honour. Thanks for your generosity and helping us to believe again.
Roses to the person who found my letters and gave them to RCMP for pickup. Thank you for your kindness.
Rotten tomatoes to the person who wrote that people who think the temple on Scott Road should turn down its sound system "should get a life." You try living near there! There is such a thing as a noise bylaw. People shouldn't have to close their windows and doors because of all the noise.
Parking lots full of tomatoes to Surrey for its appalling roads. It is about time the city properly repairs the potholes, sunken manholes and pavement depressions.
Rotten tomatoes to drivers who honk when picking up their rides. Are you so lazy to get out of your vehicle and knock on the door? More rotten tomatoes to people who know they are being picked up and aren't waiting outside, especially when it's a daily routine. Parents also need to teach their children not to play with the horn. It's not a toy - it's meant to alert someone of danger.
Beautiful long-stemmed roses to all the courteous, professional and safe commercial truck drivers out there. Thank you for daily demonstrations of good driving. You know who you are.
I need to bombard a woman with rotten tomatoes for her stupidity. Crossing a busy street in front of an ambulance with lights and sirens cautiously proceeding through the intersection, the woman slowed and put her hand up to thank them for allowing her to saunter across the street first! Really?
A large bouquet of coloured roses to the person who found the Shih Tzu and brought her to the SPCA. We were dogsitting her for three days and she escaped the first day. We are so thankful you found her and did the right thing.
Rotten tomatoes to the City of Surrey and the bylaw department for once again allowing multiple suites at a certain address in Clayton despite numerous complaints. Each and every time bylaws show up for their scheduled visit, the stove is magically removed. Enough stupidity, fines are in order now!
Rotten tomatoes to people on a certain street in Clayton who have three cars parked on the street. They use their garage for junk and their outdoor parking is non-existent, as they fenced it off. Don't be mad when there is no parking when you come home. There is - clean out your garage and remove the fence and ta-da! Two parking spots!
Rotten tomatoes to the people on my street who have been trying to sell their house for over eight months. The outside looks terrible, the front shrubs are overgrown and the flowerbeds are full of weeds. The back deck and grass is hideous. Get a clue. You are bring everyone's property values down!
A car full of rotten tomatoes to the selfish lady cleaning out her car in the Guildford McDonald's parking lot. Your passenger side door was open so you blocked us from trying to enter to park. You were so lazy and inconsiderate and couldn't close your door for one second. Shame on you and bad karma to you always.
Rotten tomatoes to the person who came into my backyard and stole my daughter's bike. You have no idea how cruel that was - the bike was an expensive gift from her late father. How dare you come onto my property while I was away visiting my dying sister. Thank you for adding more grief to our lives.
