A thousand roses to the schools, organizations and individuals in Cloverdale and Langley for their fundraising efforts to help the family of a very sick child in Cloverdale. We are blessed to live in a community of families who didn't hesitate to come forward with donations of food, money, gift cards and Christmas presents. Thank you all.

Five million truckloads of beautiful roses to Nalani at the Hawaiian Disney resort. Without your kindness, we would've had to go back to Vancouver or found another hotel.

A car full of rotten tomatoes to the filthy nimrod who throws all of his used "Lifestyles" and wrappers out his car window on 75A Avenue on a nightly basis. I'm sure there must be a trash can at a gas station where you could dispose of these before heading home to your wife. You are a real pig, leaving your mess for me and my neighbors to pick up after you. It's obvious what part of the anatomy you think with.

A truckload of rotten tomatoes to the person who stole the lottery tickets and cash from the locked cupboard at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Surrey Memorial Auxiliary volunteers sell tickets to provide funds for patients' comforts. The tickets and money stolen comprise a year's profit for the Surrey Memorial Hospital Auxiliary volunteers.

Roses to the generous folks who donated their cans and bottles to the Semiahmoo music students during their bottle drive. It was a huge success, and all the students thank you all very much!

A whole truckload of rotten tomatoes to all those pet owners who do not pick up their doggy doo on the corner of 117th and 95th! Please be responsible dog owners and pick up - baggies are only $1 at the dollar store. I am tired of picking up extra on my walks.

A stairwell of roses to the gentleman with the British accent who cleaned up all of the slippery leaves and debris from the stairs leading down to the track at Seaquam Secondary. Students and others in the community can now safely use those stairs. Thank you!

A library full of roses to the person who turned in my cell phone to the security guard at Strawberry Hill Library on Saturday. It's nice to know we still have honest citizens around.
