The Editor,
On New Year's day, I was reading the Now as I ate my breakfast. I turned to the letters page and was reminded of the special edition which I thought I had put aside for later reading. Following the lead of reader Dianne Harding, I then read "every single article," and I would like to add my congratulations to everyone involved with this admirable project.
Not only was the quality of the writing excellent, but the sentiments of the writers were entirely in tune with the best of Christmas sentiments - helping those less fortunate, the joy of giving rather than receiving, and learning to be sensitive to the needs of others and reach out to them.
I hope that everyone involved with this project will save this edition and add it to their store of Christmas treasures, as will I.
