A big bunch of roses to the kind gentleman in Cloverdale who gave my son - a Now delivery carrier - a card and generous tip for Christmas! My son has been delivering the Now for seven years, twice a week in all kinds of weather, so it's a really nice feeling to know that there are people out there who really appreciate hard-working young people.
This kind gesture made my son's day - and mine too!
A cleaning bucket full of rotten tomatoes to the people who don't tip their cleaning service people at Christmas time. They work hard for you all year. It's just a matter of, once a year, showing your appreciation for what they do.
Rotten tomatoes to all the people who complain about the snow. People, you live in Canada and snow is going to happen now and then. Deal with what we get and enjoy the beauty of it all.
Sleighfuls of roses to the generous donors to the Surrey Christmas Bureau. Toys and funds given made spirits bright for thousands of local children.
A dozen pink roses to the two little girls singing Christmas carols in their shopping cart while their mom shopped. You made a dismal chore a little more enjoyable - Merry Christmas and may you never lose your Christmas spirit!
Roses to the audience of the Dec. 16th John Lee Sanders Gospel & Blues Concert. You raised $800 for the food bank!
Rotten tomatoes to the court system that gives a slap on the wrist to drunk drivers who kill people. This is murder, just like shooting someone. The sentence should be exactly the same. Shame on the parents and families of these drivers who expect sympathy because the driver was a "good person." Stop focusing on your own needs and have some empathy for the victim's family. We all know who this refers to and your daughter wasn't even half the person the victim was.
Rotten tomatoes to a certain large mall that will not renew the lease of a smaller independent book store that sells quality books and is small enough that you can find a good read every time you shop.
I'll gladly toss more than enough moldy tomatoes to the classless loser who swore at me at Guildford Town Centre.
You are, without a doubt, scum of the earth. Get yourself a life.
I was pleasantly surprised this morning as I was busy trying to clear ramps and walkways in preparation for my school opening. At about 7: 30 a.m., two students from our neighbouring high school scaled our fence with snow shovels in hand and jumped in to help me clear the walkways, stairs and ramps. These boys are in grades 10 and 12 and attend Johnston Heights school. Roses to Taylor and his friend for their random act of kindness and reminding all of us that there are a lot of great kids around!
Rotten tomatoes to the young boy who ran out in the middle of King George Boulevard and 102nd Avenue and went on to tell ICBC that I hit him as he was walking on the sidewalk.
What a lie - karma will catch up to you. I have a witness - I hope you do.
