Dennis Black joins the city of White Rock on Feb. 1 as acting city manager until a new city manager is hired.

Former city manager Peggy Clark announced her retirement on Dec. 21 and director of financial services Sandra Kurylo has been juggling both jobs for the past six weeks. According to a press release, the process for hiring a permanent city manager is expected to take " a few months."
