A number of "Christmas Cheer Storytimes" are happening at public libraries across Surrey this month. Admission is free during the events, which includes stories, songs and a visit from Santa.

The first event in the series is Dec. 8 from 2: 30 to 3: 30 p.m. at City Centre Library. Other events will be held at libraries in Cloverdale, Fleetwood, Guildford, Newton, Ocean Park, Port Kells, Semiahmoo and Strawberry Hill. For full details, visit www. surreylibraries.ca.
