If you're heading north of the Fraser this weekend, the Port Mann isn't your best bet.

Work at the Cape Horn Interchange at the north end of the Port Mann Bridge will reduce Highway 1 to one lane in each direction for most of the weekend, from Friday night to Sunday afternoon.

Significant delays are expected on Highway 1.

This weekend's work is part of the final push to open the new Port Mann Bridge in December. After this weekend, construction-related lane reductions will return to the overnight period.
