Police experienced a relatively mellow Halloween night in Surrey, North Delta and White Rock.
"There was nothing of any significance," said Surrey RCMP Sgt. Drew Grainger. He said the rain probably helped in that regard.
On a typical weekday evening the Surrey RCMP gets 150 to 200 calls for service. On Halloween Surrey Mounties dealt with 338 complaints, mostly related to noise and fireworks.
Delta Police received 98 calls for service. Const. Ciaran Feenan said there were "no major issues and incidents were resolved quickly."
Same goes for White Rock, where the RCMP dealt with 12 calls for service on Halloween night.
"It was pretty uneventful," Const. Janelle Shoihet said.
