Menchie's has announced its first location in B.C. will be at Morgan Crossing, with the grand opening celebration set for Feb. 11 and 12.

"Our guests have already embraced us and this grand opening event is a way for us to thank our fans, as well as invite new guests into our store," said Cory Edwards, owner of Menchie's Surrey. "We can't wait to have everyone join in on the fun."

The celebration runs noon to 5 p.m. both days, with door prizes, giveaways and free frozen yogurt and balloons.

Michael Shneer, president of Yogurtworld Franchising Corp., which handles Menchie's franchising, is pleased with the company's Canadian success.

"In addition to opening this store, we expect another four more stores to open across Canada in the next four weeks," he said.

Menchie's Surrey, at 15775 Croydon Ave. (across from London Drugs), will have the same set up as other locations with guest able to help themselves to an unlimited mix of yogurt and toppings at a unique selfserve station.

CHIROPRACTOR GIVES BACK
