Surrey Mounties are warning women in the Newton area to be wary of a white-haired thief who's been mugging victims for their jewelry. The muggings have been happening during afternoon hours, over the past week. He's after necklaces, earrings and bracelets. The robber is slim, white, in his 40s, has white hair and was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans and apparently travels in an old dark blue-green minivan.
