Some young Surrey Penguins stirred up enough interest in a video they made to top an online contest among hockey teams in B.C.

The Hockey 3 division team of seven-year-olds earned the most public votes - more than 10,000 of them - in an All Star Grants contest run by the Best Buy chain.

The top 10 teams in the contest each earned a $2,000 grant, including sixth-place finisher Cloverdale Eagles, a Hockey 4 division team.

The Penguins' winning video - edited by Ashna Sanghera, 10, whose brother Jordan plays on the team - showed team members being interviewed and dancing to "Gangnam Style." The Penguins will use their $2,000 for player development.

Nearly 300 teams participated in the contest.
