The Vancouver police recommended an additional 52 charges to the Crown Monday against 20 more suspected rioters.

Four of the 20 suspected rioters from this round of charges are from Surrey, bringing the total number of suspected Surrey rioters up to 14. Only one alleged rioter is from Delta.

A 17-year-old Surrey girl is alleged to have punched a police officer in the face and while being taken into custody, spat at a member and kicked him in his leg.

The girl allegedly proceeded to bite another office in the arm when they came to assist the first officer, breaking skin. The accused is known to police but has no criminal record.

A 19-year-old man from Surrey is alleged to have been part of a mob that turned against a Good Samaritan.

From the second round of recommended charges, 16 of the accused are men and four are women.
