The Vancouver police have added 251 new pictures of riot suspects to their website
The revamped site, riot2011.vpd.ca, now has more than 300 images of suspects police hope will soon be identified by viewers. The first go-around in August had 125 pictures and received more than 400 hits.
So far more than 100 people are facing charges related to Vancouver's Stanley Cup riot last spring.
Considering a good number of those are from Surrey, readers might want to have a peek at the site.
Police are hoping the public can identify six young men, whose images are posted, who are wanted for the assault of Robert Mackay.
Mackay was knocked down, beaten and pepper sprayed by rioters for trying to stop the nonsense on June 15.
"We need your help in bringing them to justice for their cowardly and gutless attack," VPD Insp. Les Yeo said.
Meanwhile, three young Surrey men have already been charged in connection with the assault on Mackay.
They are Tanner Bedow, 25, Armando Garcia, 19, and Brandon Wise, 18.
