SPECIAL EDITION: In Dec. 24 issue of the Now, these kids call the shots

Students from Ms. Pesce and Mrs. Brister's Grade 6/7 class at Latimer Road Elementary school in Cloverdale are excited to be sitting in the editor's chair next week. Editor Beau Simpson has been visiting the class once a week since early November and has been helping the young journalists hone their skills for a special edition of the 'Now' on Dec. 24. In that issue, the newspaper will be filled with the students' stories, photos, poems and artwork. "They have been working very hard on their assignments," Simpson said. "I have been very impressed with the kids and I can't wait for the end result to hit readers' doorsteps on Dec. 24."
