Surrey Mounties need help to identify two men suspected in what police say was the aggravated sexual assault of a Whalley prostitute last October.
Surrey RCMP Cpl. Bert Paquet said police believe the pair drove the woman from King George Boulevard and 105th Avenue to a secluded spot in the 12800-block of Colebrook Road and attacked her there. They were driving a metallic blue four-door sedan, possibly an older Honda Civic or Acura, with low tires, tinted windows, a rear spoiler and rain guards on the rear passenger window.
This was on Oct. 18, between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Paquet said investigators believe they have the attackers' DNA.
Both suspects are East Indian, in their early to mid 20s. The driver is described as six foot one, about 200 pounds, and was wearing a white hoodie with red strings, blue jeans and dark leather shoes. The passenger was stocky - about five feet 10 inches tall and 200-230 pounds, and was wearing a dark top with a white design on it, a gold chain around his neck, dark jeans and white running shoes.
"Police do not believe that the general public is at risk," Paquet said. "There continues to be personal contact with those engaged in high risk activities to provide awareness and prevent further offences from occurring."
Police ask anyone who might recognize these suspects, or has information that help the RCMP catch them, to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
