Surrey Mounties need help to find two people who've recently gone missing.
Kelly Lynn Pickwell, 44, was reported missing from a medical facility on Dec. 21, near 136th Street and 94th Avenue in Whalley. She is white, five feet five inches tall and 141 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a dark pink turtle neck sweater and a thin black jacket. Police says she suffers from mental illness and addiction issues and "possibly" has diabetes.
"She has been reported missing before, however, never for this length of time," Cpl. Bert Paquet said. She doesn't have a car and uses public transit.
Meanwhile, the Surrey RCMP continues to search for Kevin Fry, a 20-year-old Guildford man whose family reported him missing on New Years Day.
Fry is white, six foot one, 155 pounds and has brownish/dirty blond hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, ball cap, red-and-black checkered winter coat and a red backpack. He has a tattoo on his inner left forearm of a sword with two snakes wrapped around it.
"Fry has no known mental health or addiction issues and he did not pick up his last paycheque from his employer nor did he attend a year-end staff party," Paquet said. "Family reports that it is unusual for Fry to fail to stay in contact. He does not have a vehicle and likely uses transit or friends to get around."
Police ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Fry or Pickwell to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
