Surrey was expected to unveil its new state-of-the-art Mobile Incident Command Post Thursday morning at Fire Hall #1 in Newton.

The rig is equipped with advanced communications and surveillance technology and will provide onsite support for Surrey's firefighters, police and city staff during emergencies, as well as large public events.
