SURREY - A Surrey man has been charged with eight counts of robbery for allegedly holding up three Booster Juice stores as well as a Quiznos, a Subway and a tanning salon.

Clayton Norris, 29, is being held in custody until his next court appearance. Surrey and Langley RCMP investigators worked on the case as one of the Booster Juice outlets was in Langley and the other two were in South Surrey.

Norris is accused of threatening employees at knifepoint. Nobody was hurt.

"Investigators would like to point out that high quality video images were helpful in quickly identifying a suspect," said Surrey RCMP Sgt. Drew Grainger. "They would also like to thank some keen-eyed members of the public for their observations which helped assist them in making this arrest."
