SURREY — So on Monday night, the Twitterverse exploded in a passionate and fiery debate after Now columnist Keith Baldrey tweeted spoilers about the most recent episode of Breaking Bad.
It wasn't pretty (see Tweets below).
Some were fuming. But as others on Twitter pointed out in Keith's defence, he made sure he waited a full 24 hours after the show aired before tweeting about plot details. Others were adamant that if you are such a big fan of a show, then you should either watch it live or avoid social media at all costs until you've watched it on your PVR.
Just what are the rules? Who's right here?
First @keithbaldrey tells us spoilers..next he's going to spoil movies like Titanic and Eight Men Out (etc)..he must be stopped!!— Don Cowger (@dcowger) September 17, 2013
I'm not sure but I think @keithbaldrey killed a DEA agent or something.— Steve Burgess (@steveburgess1) September 17, 2013
@keithbaldrey Wow. So you sure shit the bed huh? I agree with you though. If you PVR'd it, stay off Twitter!— Jennifer Thomson (@jtradiogal) September 17, 2013
@keithbaldrey 24 hours isnt enough time! that's not how people watch tv now. that was by definition a blatant and inconsiderate spoiler.— Bob (@lowerlameland) September 17, 2013
