Re: "Sims sticks to guns about sniper rifles," the Now, Jan 26.

I have to respond to Jinny Sims' pamphlet - it is so far out of left field. It astounds me that a politician, whom we expect to be more well read than the average person, can circulate such sensational misinformation.

This sort of thing just promotes hysteria about guns in general and puts the focus on guns instead of the criminals who are using them to control their drug operations.
