Cloverdale goalie makes an impact in freshman season

 

 
 
 

Surrey goaltender Sienna Cooke has enjoyed a stellar freshman season with the St. Mary's University Huskies in Nova Scotia.

The Cloverdale Minor Hockey and Surrey Female Hockey product was among the leaders in almost every goaltending category for the Atlantic University Sports women's hockey conference including minutes played (1,160), wins (10), save percentage (.934) and goals against average (1.86)

Last week she was honoured as the CIS/ AUS Conference Rookie of the Year and was also named to the first all-star team and the all-rookie team.
