Pegasus beats Oylmpics 1-0

It wasn't pretty, but it counts, says Pegasus manager, Paul Sandhu. ICST Pegasus beat the bottom-dwelling Vancouver Olympics 1-0 this weekend in VMSL premier division soccer action.

Sandhu said the Pegasus back-line held up well during the game, but the team as a whole didn't feel in sync.

"The play wasn't intense and lacked any kind of flow," said Sandhu. Pegasus edged ahead late in the game with a goal by second-half sub, striker Ronny Johal.

Pegasus is now tied for fifth place in the premier division.

Pegasus' next match is Saturday, Jan. 5 against Richmond FC Hibernians at Minoru Oval, 2 p.m.
