Thousands of people filled the plaza at Central City Saturday for Surrey's annual Tree-Lighting Festival, a free, eight-hour event that featured an appearance by Santa Claus, interactive games, amusement rides, live music and dance performances. At 55 feet tall, Surrey's Christmas tree is considered to be the largest in B.C.
