SURREY - A local company is celebrating the successful launch of its initial solar project.
P2 Solar Inc. completed its initial solar PV installation, Project Langley, about two months ago. The company noted Project Langley - a 53 KWp rooftop installation for Canada Ticket - is the largest solar PV facility to be connected to the BC Hydro grid.
"This is a significant achievement for the company," said CEO Raj-Mohinder Gurm. "Completing our first project builds momentum as we turn our attention to building our other projects. We are also seeing this project has generated significant interest in solar in B.C., and we hope to follow up with new projects here in the future."
Project Langley is estimated to generate 60 MW hours of electrical power a year.
