SULLIVAN – More than 100 people turned out for a surprise party to celebrate Lil and Ken Baldwin’s 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday.
The Surrey couple were treated to a parade of antique vehicles, courtesy of the Pacific Model “A” Ford Club and the Central Fraser Valley chapter of the Vintage Car Club of Canada. The Baldwins are active with both clubs.
Ken Baldwin was active with the truck museum that used to be in Cloverdale, and Lil Baldwin spent years volunteering as a leader with Girl Guides.
The couple, whose anniversary is this Thursday, Sept. 19, have lived their whole married life in Surrey and raised two daughters here, Susan and Arlene.
