New Democratic Party of Canada leader Thomas Mulcair will be in Surrey Thursday to host a Town Hall meeting to discuss the NDP’s plan to abolish the Senate. The meeting is part of the NDP leader's tour across Canada and comes at a time when the Senate is mirred in scandal over senators' expenses.
The meeting is free to attend, open to the public and will be held at the Sheraton Guildford at 2 p.m.
Also in attendance will be local NDP MPs Jasbir Sandhu and Jinny Sims.
