A big Funmobile will be parked at several sites in Surrey this week as part of a "Bring Back Play" tour of the province.

Family-friendly games, activities and giveaways are featured at the free events, hosted by ParticipACTION and Healthy Families BC. At each tour stop, the Bring Back Play Funmobile team will "remind kids and parents, through hula hoops, skipping ropes, balls and chalk, how fun it is to play."

In Surrey, the Funmobile will visit Redwood Park (17900 20th Ave.) on Monday, March 18 from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a stop at Crescent Beach from 1: 30 to 4: 30 p.m. The truck will be at Bear Creek Park on Wednesday, March 20 from 9 to 11 a.m., and at The Shops at Morgan Crossing's spring skate event on Wednesday, March 20 from 9 to 11 a.m.
