The Now is proud to introduce Christopher Poon, the editorial team's new multimedia reporter. "Poon's storytelling skills - using all the tools at a modern journalist's disposal - will help us cover our communities in new and innovative ways," said Editor Beau Simpson.

Poon was born and raised in Surrey - his first job ever was delivering the Now as a child. He has worked the past four years for a variety of publications in the Lower Mainland. His last job was at the Whistler Question.

"I'm so thrilled to be back in my home town and can't wait to serve the community that shaped who I am today," Poon said.
